Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli fired back at former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley on Thursday after the Democrat forced Cuccinelli to leave an event Thanksgiving eve, with Cuccinelli claiming O'Malley's "sad" and "shocking" outburst was so vitriolic his neck veins were "bulging."
Cuccinelli, in a lengthy statement to Fox News, recalled Wednesday night’s incident, which took place at the Dubliner—an Irish pub on Capitol Hill where he and O’Malley were attending an event with fellow graduates of Gonzaga College High School before O’Malley’s “shame-invoking tirade” forced Cuccinelli to leave.

“I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night, Cuccinelli said in the statement. “As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cussing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.”
Cuccinelli continued: “When I turned to look I saw O'Malley and he was obviously screaming at me. For a moment I thought he was trying to be funny, as we've met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.”
Cuccinelli added that O’Malley had “also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault,” which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to attempt to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that O’Malley followed him.

Conservative officeholders need to stay out of DC bars. They are full of people who wish them harm. And there’s a leftist jury pool that is just waiting to convict them of something they didn’t do.

Ken Cuccinelli showed himself to be gutless. It seems the democrats have an uncanny ability to pick people to crap on who will not fight back.

Nobody is saying he had to instigate a bar fight, but stand his ground, absolutely.
Continue to retreat, and the assholes will continue to advance.
Somebody has to draw a line somewhere, and hopefully before it results in bloodshed.
That wouldn’t give Chuck Todd any ammo to use against Trump. Of course not.
He shouldn’t have left; should have called the police.

Your sense of honor is with you wherever you are.
What should have happened:
1. The fool got loud and got in his face. Since he was beyond reason, Cuccinelli should have pushed him back out of his face.
2. If the fool wants to go beyond that and re-engage, then it is time for fists to fly.
As the late Patrick Swayze said in “Road House”, “I want you to be nice, until it’s time to not be nice”
So how was prison?
O'Malley had a reputation here in Maryland for rage displays and vitriolic coercion against political opponents. The phrase "made grown men cry" was said about his unhinged tirades by one of the county pols.
