Former Vice President Joe Biden continues to lead the newly expanded field of contenders for the Democratic nomination for president, with Sens. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Bernie Sanders of Vermont behind him in a close battle for second, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS.
South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg joins them in double digits for the first time. Biden holds 28% support among Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who are registered to vote, followed by Sanders at 17%, Warren at 14% and Buttigieg at 11%.

Interesting to note: The two leading candidates are “moderates”.
The progressives will not take this lying down. They’ll dump Warren and unite behind Bernie, the original commie.
It’s between Biden and Bernie.
No wonder knowledgeable Democrats are worried.
Hillary may enter the Dim race, but I don’t think she can win it. Progressives hate her.
Either way the big divide in their party is between Progressives and Blacks. They are the two main bodies of the party and they don’t see eye to eye.
Blacks (35% of their primary electorate) will vote for Biden or Clinton. Or Michele is she enters. Nobody else, wither in the primary or the general. A solid Black voting bloc in the general is ESSENTIAL for Dims to have a credible shot.
That is why the nominee will be one of those three.
But the Progressives will keep Bernie alive through the convention. Again.
And again they’ll see their hopes go up in flames. Perhaps the flames of antifa riots at the convention.
Biden will be the Dems McCain or Dole.
