WASHINGTON - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday suggested that Ukraine should be investigated over allegations that it interfered in the 2016 election, a debunked theory advanced by President Donald Trump that witnesses told the congressional impeachment inquiry was spread by Russian spy agencies.
Pompeo was asked at a news conference if the United States should probe accusations of Ukrainian election meddling that Trumps fellow Republicans have raised in the Democrat-led U.S. House of Representatives probe into whether Trump abused his power for domestic political gain.
Any time there is information that indicates that any time any country has messed with American elections, we not only have a right but a duty to make sure that we chase that down, Pompeo replied without naming Ukraine. He added that even a suggestion of interference should be probed.
Witnesses at the House Intelligence Committee hearings have testified that the allegation of Ukrainian election interference was spread by Russia.
This is a fictional narrative that has been perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services themselves, said Fiona Hill, a former U.S. intelligence analyst who served as the top Russia expert at the White House.

And the other one — “narrative.”
Like the Fradu’s henchmen who refused to use the word “Jerusalem” (they called it al quds), our domestic enemies are easily known for “debunking” proven events.
The Democrat party, with it fake news toadies, sure is acting like it has something to hide in the Ukraine.
So Fake News, were you lying to us in 2017 or are you lying to us now?
Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire
Fraud’s
Ask Paul Manifold about it being debunked.
Reuters objectivity is debunked.
And “Witnesses” (who didn’t actually witness anything).
Evidently, it is not “debunked”. It is alive and well.
I actually remember the takedown of Paul Manafort during the 2016 primary season. It came out of the Ukraine.
Nothing debunked at all about it.
The humor of it all is that it resulted in the great KellyAnn Conway slamming that team all the way to victory.
and how is it debunked?
Good old Commie Reuters, carrying water for our Leftist Democrats. The world would be a much better place without them.
So annoying. It is not debunked. It is an actual, known, much written about fact. Even reuters wrote about it.
Ukrainian politicians released that hand-written “black ledger” to implicate Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort in what remains an unproven allegation of bribery. That forced Manafort to resign.
That is election interference!
There is more than just that, but that alone is enough for the media to stop using this word ‘debunked’.
Yet Hillary's Russian claims have been investigated for years.
And “fictional”
So sayeth RotoReuters.
All the more reason to believe it's true.
Reuters is really getting brazen. They must be desperate. Earlier today some one posted a story where they tried to spin the idea that because prices were not going up on goods from China Americans were paying the tariffs. The study they quoted concluded exactly the opposite.
If Reuters had been around 400 years ago, they would be sneering at Galileo for believing in the debunked heliocentric theory of the solar system.
They already have proof that Ukraine interfered.

Obviously, Jon has done wonderful work over the years, ranging from his reports on the bogus intelligence about WMD in Iraq to this years Pulitzer-worthy work on the Senate, the CIA and torture, McClatchy Washington bureau chief Jim Asher wrote in the memo.
