WASHINGTON, Nov 24 (Reuters) - U.S. House of Representatives Intelligence Committee Democrats have begun writing their report on the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump - a key step moving the process forward - but still may obtain more witness depositions and hold further hearings, the panel's chairman said on Sunday.
Representative Adam Schiff, who is spearheading the inquiry that threatens Trump presidency, said the Democratic-led committee would continue investigations as it works on the report after two weeks of public hearings with testimony from current and former U.S. officials. The panel has held five public hearings and has no more scheduled.
The report could pave the way for House consideration of articles of impeachment - formal charges - against Trump. If these are approved, the Senate, controlled by Trump's fellow Republicans, would then hold a trial on whether to convict the president and remove him from office.

Sort of like The Conners getting a third season despite the no-ratings.
Goodness gracious. Adam Schiff is keeping his casting couch running on Thanksgiving week?
Last time I noticed, actor John Goodman was looking like a cadaver with loose jowls an an angry attitude.
Enough is enough! Just think of the little illegal alien children who could have had a free hot meal if the ‘RATS weren’t wasting all these taxpayer dollars with their bogus-ass coup trying to bring down the President of the United States. The dem losers need to send their “witnesses” back to their street corners. Their “Johns” are getting horny and lonesome.
If Schiff refuses to appear before the Senate as a witness, this Schiff show is OVER.
After a point, it is sort of worthless to lose weight in order to look better. He may be healthier but he looks awful. Never liked him.
“Top Democrat”.....ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They must have heard from someone that President Trump bullied in the third grade.
probably also means they would have to contend with Nunes letter citing the Minority Witness statements rule (if it hasn’t already been changed)
When you step in the Schiff, you scrape it off your boots and move on.
Its time to scrape it off your boots.
They are seeking additional testimony to confirm their conclusion—as to how many angels there are on the head of a pin!
I find that hard to believe. More likely they don't have the support of independent voters, which gives them pause to pull the trigger to create articles of impeachment.
They are terrified of losing power to Senate...They lose control of the narrative.....
Or Senate having all the power has dems quaking in their boots
The Rats on Twitter think Schifty of a Genius.
I’ll bet they think he could make all those mean Senate Republicans look foolish asking him questions.
They still don’t have a crime yet but will keep looking I’m sure.
“They don’t have the votes”
Of course they do. The repetition of the successful Watergate coup depends on re-creating the drip..drip...drip media pipeline.
It’s kind of rope a dope. Make the President’s defenders respond, respond, respond. Eventually maneuver them into making statements you know are false. Then, “shocking new revelation”. Rinse and repeat. Obstruction of justice. Misprision of felony. On and on, until the brainwashed masses are accepting of the (false) major premise, following the common sense and usually reliable intuition of “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”.
The votes are counted, The deed is done. The RIGHT way to deal with this is to MAKE THEM VOTE, right now or ASAP. The only votes that are going to change are those of weak Republicans, easily browbeaten by professionally produced narratives.
The other side is using expert, skilled professionals for the production of this show. Adam Schiff, ridiculous as he is, is just a minor character.
If we let the whole movie play, if we watch it to the end, we’re gonna lose, because the script demands it.
Time to disrupt the process.
Because the schitt show is all the progs have, not any actual "evidence."
Last week I was thinking they would actually vote to impeach, now I am not so sure.
