Why? The democrats know they will lose a fair election. They are going to steal a huge amount of votes. They need a reasonable excuse for Trump to lose. The impeachment hearings are only one facet. They will manufacture many more in the coming year.and then when Trump loses they will say it was because his Presidency was scandal filled. Similar to Pelosis “wrap up smear” explanation.
