well if the doors stay aligned and the paint job lasts longer than an Earl Shibe $100 special it will be a step up for Tesla

I’m curious as to the emergency escape options, I doubt the doors require electronics from the inside.
As for fire, gas powered vehicles remain a MUCH larger risk for death by fire. Porsches in particular seem to immolate folks regularly.
