I am not withholding a vote for him because of his sexual preference. However, his sexual preference is an indicator that his world view and values are radically different from mine. Therefore, I would likely never ever consider voting for him.
They cast around the term “homophobic”.”Phobic” implies fear. Alleging “fear” is a complete, irresponsible mischaracterization of my objections, Quite simply, his belief system is far different from mine and it presents a danger to me. I don’t hate him; I just won’t vote for him.
Not homophobic. Homorepulsed.
Fear is an accurate characterization of my objections to all far-left globalists. The next socialist elected will likely trigger our second civil war during his/her/its tenure. I am afraid of such a war. That war would be far better than the "progressive" vision, but any sane person should be scared by the thought of 50 million dead because a few elitists could not control their lust for power.
While you may not hate him, he hates you.
‘However, his sexual preference is an indicator that his world view and values are radically different from mine.’
as my cynicism increases in direct proportion to the decrease in my remaining lifetime, I would not be the least bit surprised to find out this fellow isn’t homosexual at all, and is just using its current cachet to bolster his political value...I wouldn’t be shocked if Chasten is not the heart felt love of his life, and I would almost bet money that Pete has a girl on the side (with Chasten’s approval, for as long as Pete shines on, so does his protege...
“They cast around the term homophobic.Phobic implies fear.”
One could argue that it is the homosexuals themselves who are homophobic - since they insist on being called “gay”, and ironically, they are anything BUT gay.
