PJ, your scenario is interesting, to say the least, but it's impossible -- Robotox has already said Articles would be filed and voted on by mid-Dec.

Now that alone forces the Senate trial into 2020 but there's no viable waiting-until-October-2020 scenario because that would give us time to impeach Sondland's testimony, find EC and interview him (clearly, the FBI already knows where he is), flip the script on Vindman and Jenn-Jenn (and block their cash-in on the book deals) ... anyway, the Democrats actually FEAR the Senate going all-in on a trial ... and here's MY prediction: The Senate is going all-in on a trial.

So...if you ever wanted proof that Obama's cadre, not Cankles, was the mechanism behind Brennan's dark arts against Trump from the moment Our President took the escalator ride, read on...

So the Senate trial will destroy Biden. He won't withdraw, but if he doesn't win NH and IA, he's going to be shaky come Super Tuesday.

So who would benefit most from Biden's denouement?

Not Faux, progressivism has a glass ceiling. No, the beneficiary would be another white male, the one being cast as the 'other moderate'...

Obama's top bundlers to the LAST MAN are ALL-IN on Buttf@g.

Start here: Open Secrets: Obama Ambassadors and their bundling success

Then read this:

"But there are a lot of Obama fund-raisers involved, many of them former ambassadors."

"Tod Sedgwick, who was Mr. Obama’s ambassador to Slovakia, is among a group of former diplomats who are bundling contributions for Mr. Buttigieg. David Jacobson, Mr. Obama’s ambassador to Canada, is hosting a fund-raiser for Mr. Buttigieg in Chicago on Tuesday. Timothy Broas (the Netherlands), John Phillips (Italy) and Bill Eacho (Austria) have also raised money for Mr. Buttigieg."

“Obama tended to have the larger bundlers, and they would have campaign events every quarter,” Mr. Sedgwick said. “These guys have a national investment council, and they pretty much add anyone who they think is making an effort to raise money.”

Mr. Jacobson [hosted] a high-dollar event in Chicago on Tuesday. In Massachusetts, there is a $2,800-per-ticket event Friday in Provincetown, and a $2,800 breakfast on Nantucket."

These are all former Obama Ambassadors who were gifted their grift from @BarackObama strictly on their ability to bundle +$500K! They want their posts back. And they're all in on the f@g, because they want to shape him as the First F@g, and literally own his ass even more than they owned Down-Low Bobo.

I know. It's a hypothetical that explains a possible way to impeach without the Senate taking it up. It is contingent on not voting to impeach in the House until next October.

The only way to defer it in any way is based on the first post in this thread that I responded to with this hypothetical, which suggested that Nadler would take up the hearings after Schiff is finished.

Would Pelosi call for the full House vote on impeachment based only on the Intelligence Committee hearings? I doubt it. I also doubt the Senate Judiciary Committee would accept articles of Impeachment as legitimate from anywhere other than their counterpart House Judiciary Committee.

Can Nadler hold his hearings in the Judiciary Committee between now and mid-December, with Thanksgiving and Christmas recesses coming up? Maybe, maybe not. That's only about a three week window of opportunity to get it scheduled, get witnesses lined up to appear, etc.

So, if Nadler were to hold "official" impeachment inquiry hearings at all, it would likely be in January 2020 at the beginning of the second session of this Congress. At that point, I'd think that Pelosi would want it all wrapped up by Super Tuesday in the first week of March.
