You are making a critical thinking error. Since most people DO NOT use critical thinking skills nor care about logic, only perception and optics matter.

So far, today has been very bad for optics. The witness keeps saying what they dems want for soundbites, "quid pro quo." Yes, anyone with a brain knows all of this is logically and legally backing up Trump (the phone call in which he said "do the right thing") but that doesn't matter. Most people are stupid. The MSM doesn't can use the optics to move them... and that's all that matters. The dems just need a thin thread to move on this and affect the 2020 election.
