House Democrats on Saturday released a transcript of closed-door testimony from career foreign service officer and Vice President Pence staffer Jennifer Williams.
Williams was among the officials on the July 25 call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. She is also one of the only witnesses who has testified that has firsthand knowledge of the exchange.
During the famed July 25 call, the president asked his foreign counterpart for a favor: He wanted Kyiv to open anti-corruption investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden, who was employed by Burisma in the Obama era.
This is one of the many rounds of private testimony that has been released by the House recently. Public hearings in front of the House Intelligence Committee are expected to resume next week.

Chuck Grassley is supposed to take the chairmanship back in 2021 if the Republicans hold the Senate. Maybe Graham is using that as an excuse not to hold hearings. It’s a lame excuse anyway. I’m still waiting for Graham to get to the bottom of the leak of the Blasey-Ford letter like he promised during Kavanaugh’s hearings. Has Graham held any hearings at all since he took over Grassley’s spot? Somebody a while back on FR said that Graham wouldn’t hold hearings on anything that would shed bad light on his old pal McLame.
Graham is not trying to protect McCain, he’s dead. Graham is trying to protect Graham, he’s in on the coup,up to his neck,same as his butt buddy McCain was.

I’ve been repeatedly referring them as the “Schifty Schift Democrat Impeachment Inquiry Hearsayings”.
The William Transcript was the very first time we heard from anyone who actually sat in on the July 25th President to President call and she verified that the transcript that President Trump was accurate in every detail, especially after she released the revision through her attorneys. I read all 166 mind numbing pages plus the post-deposition revision letter from her attorneys.
One Democrat Congresswoman was trying to get Williams to agree there was an actual audio recording of the call somewhere, which Williams kept deflecting, claiming it was outside her area of knowledge. The Congresswoman even took her time to explain how such recording were used in Congressional committees and on the floor to facilitate creating transcripts.
All-in-all, Williams’ deposition was a positive for President Trump even though she said she thought parts of the call were unusually ‘political’ in nature but she did not mention those thoughts to anyone. She was also adamant that at no time was any mention made of demands for such investigations part of the vice-president’s agenda in discussions with Ukrainian officials during his several meetings before or after President Trump’s call. . . Nor, to her knowledge, were such concerns brought up by the Ukrainians.
