What I’ve learned from all this is that the closest thing to an impeachable offense committed by Trump is keeping deadwood like Taylor, Kent and Yovanovitch on the payroll for so long.

The Reps have decided not to attack her deeming it counterproductive. She is not a fact witness. She is a disgruntled employee that did’t like how she was relieved by two months from her tour of duty. As Nunes said at the opening, she should be testifying before a subcommittee dealing with HR matters in the State Department.

The Republicans played their cards right by not making “sympathetic witness,” Yovanovitch look like a victim of a “smear.” They have avoided bringing up the evidence against her found by Rudy Giuliani for strategic purposes. The Dems may clap now for what they think was a victory. However, that shoe will drop and there will be egg on the Dem’s faces when the time is right. Perhaps the Horowitz report will be that shoe.
