Now Taylor comes up with the "bombshell" disclosure that one of his staff members overheard a telephone conversation between Trump and Sondlin on July 26, 2019, the day after the Zelensky call. Secondhand information and interpretation.
Trump already mentioned the investigations in his call with Zelenshy. What is improper about Trump mentioning it? And then the staffer states that Sondlin says Trump is more interested in the investigation of Biden and Burisma than Ukraine security interests. That is Sondlin's interpretation, not Trump's words. We need the name of the staffer who suddenly came up with this stuff.

It is certainly hearsay. but the main part of this is the office gossip that goes on in ALL offices.

Further he's pretty stupid not to realize Putin will keep a 'standing conflict' on his border to protect his interests as long as US is involved is operating in Ukraine's governance.
Additionally Everyone knows Ukraine's politics is all bribes and pay offs top down to the guy on the street....that has not changed though this new Pres. might have a chance to clean some of it up...but it's just how they govern there and have for decades.
BTW Old wood Taylor wanted everything to remain the same and HE refused to see there was a New Pres. here and in Ukraine and things would indeed change....He went there to make certain his desires for Ukraine would stand...not to serve this President.

When does a Republican “counsel” get to question these witnesses? But more importantly, when do the Republicans on the committee get to make statements? They need to call this the sham hearing that it is.
I propose renaming the State Department to “The Arrogant Sh**head Department”. It seems much more appropriate.
Sondland's opinion/impression. Trump never said it. Ukraine got the aid without the investigation.
