The Trump administration reportedly notified hundreds of Interior Department employees Tuesday that they will have 30 days to relocate to western states or face the potential of job terminations.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is relocating 27 employees from Washington, D.C., to the agency’s new headquarters in Colorado and another 220 to field offices out West, Government Executive (GE) reported Tuesday. The relocated employees reportedly have until Dec. 12 to agree to the move; if they don’t accept the terms, then they’ll be fired.
This is not the first time federal employees have been asked to relocate.
Department of Agriculture employees at the Economic Research Service (ERS) and the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) are being directed to relocate to Kansas City, Missouri. The move is expected to save taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars.

Move the Department of the Interior closer to the interior.
Saving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars... breaking up entrenched federal government corruption... pushing out the climate change hoax beaurocrats... only the beginning (fingers crossed).
More of the beltway needs to be moved out to normal America.
They should relocate everyone in the FBI. To Greenland.
The massive expanse of federal lands are out west. If you are going to manage them get your ass out of DC and go where the job is.

KC should not be the place to relocate to. It should be some small rural towns in Kansas and Nebraska.
Oh, I think they could stay in the US, but why do we need a big central DC FBI office? Move those functions out into cities of 50,000 or less population. That will make them aware of how real people live.
Obviously a start, but it should be the ENTIRE DEPARTMENTS, save for a skeletal crew in DC. We now have things like phones and Internet, so it no longer takes days to communicate with places outside of DC.
Eff the BLM, nazi thugs. He should dissolve that agency and have a complete audit, followed by indictments.
Start MASSIVE reductions-in-force in the agencies. As I understand it, those with lower seniority (a good chunk who will be Obama hires) will be the ones to lose their jobs. Downgrade positions to lower paid grades in the headquarters also. A huge number of them are certainly paid well more than they are worth.
Hell, I wish they’d move the entire national capitol, from the Beltway, to either rural Kansas or Nebraska.
Kansas City is not really “out West”. Tonopah, that’s “out West”.
