They will just use conscripts. They have to get rid of the surplus males who can’t find a wife somehow.
That may be what they must turn to. Soon they will have 30 million more single males than single women of similar age. Staggering.
China’s total population is actually declining. But their elderly population is increasing quickly...and the number of elderly in poverty is growing even faster.
They will be forced to make some tough, and likely cruel, decisions in the coming years.
