Heck, don't know why it was posted now. I only glanced at it, there was only a bit of text, and I saw the date. Honestly, I remember a lot, but my brain is pretty full. It didn't trigger a recall on me. That sounded like an exasperated "Good Grief" Dave W, but when something is posted in this fashion it is misleading, so I hope that wasn't directed at me.

My mom and dad are buried at Arlington, and since I have never been there during December, I had to think if they even put wreaths at Arlington, because there are a lot of people interred there, and I saw this:

"...On Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 8:30 AM, volunteers will lay 253,000 veterans’ wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery just outside our nation’s Capital. These wreaths symbolize a commitment to Remember and Honor our nation’s veterans through the laying of wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each veteran aloud..."

I must admit, it was nice to read this. I am familiar to the Wreaths Across America group, and am gratified to hear they have enough people to get that done in a matter of weeks. That means they get a LOT of people to do it, so there are still a lot of people who care.

If your parents are buried at Arlington, you should volunteer next month on 12/14 and help lay the Christmas wreaths, especially since you've never been there before.

These people are doing this for people like your folks. The least you could do is to help.
