House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Sunday accused Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of orchestrating a “calculated coup” to take down President Trump as the House prepares to hold the first public hearing of its impeachment inquiry.
“It is clear now more than ever, this is a calculated coup and it is being orchestrated by Adam Schiff,” said Mr. McCarthy on Fox’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” “We are watching him orchestrate the takedown of a president after we just celebrated 30 years [since] taking down the Berlin Wall.”
The Republican leader’s broadside at Mr. Schiff, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, came after the California Democrat refused to allow Republicans to call Hunter Biden or the anonymous “whistleblower” to testify at the hearings starting Wednesday.

“This has been orchestrated, and if it goes out longer, we will find the lies, we will find out how they calculated the truth, we’ll find more about the whistleblower’s attorney and others,” said Mr. McCarthy.

Schiff should be charged with treason.
Well then do something other than just talk. Disrupt the hearings, fill the halls with demonstrators, harass Schiff at every step, don’t allow the House to operate, and the DOJ which endlessly investigates, but never produces an indictment, needs to be kicked to Mars until they do something.
McCarthy finally pulls his head out of his backside.
Well the DOJ would need to charge him. These Dems are a lot like the old copperheads, Vallandigham, and should be treated as such.
The very same MO egomaniac Schiff is using.
The whistleblower was sent packing....no longer needed. ....just a crowbar to open the door to impeachment.
Schiff slipped up and was heard to say he was "Building a Case" for obstruction.
Everytime Trump does something to defend himself, the flailing Schiff
grabs onto it like a drowning man going under for the third time, reaching for a lifesaver.
Schiff is innocent, at least of orchestrating a coup. Schiff is merely a low-talent loser who is being used by the real coup plotters (Comey, Brennan, and other more talented traitors).
The intricate scheduling, the minute details, every Dem and his cousin in place to impeach....that took months of meticulous planning.
Yet no-no Nanzi kept “saying” there’ll be no impeachment.....lying to Americas....as she was planning every frickin’ detail to get Trump.
The traitorous Republicans are also angry that a basically third party independent candidate, Donald Trump, was preferred by the American people over any of the weak professional politicians they had to offer.
Well maybe Kevin should call his good friend Ryan if he has any questions. Republican love to talk big when they have no power. Ryan made damn sure FISAgate went nowhere
So speaking the obvious truth that the media won't admit is a "broadside".
