Would this alter the actual ingredients in any way.
I'm sure someone can clarify.
In order for the foods to be ‘halal’ all ingredients must also be ‘halal’, so you have to get Halal certified ingredients. And where would you get those?...........FROM MUSLIMS OF COURSE!...................
Harlan Sanders, who was never really a colonel, fried chicken in lard. I doubt they still do this though.
> Isn’t Halal similar to Kosher, in that it has to do with the way foods are processed? <
Yes. Halal involves how foods are processed. And like with Kosher, some foods are simply prohibited. But there is one significant difference. An observant Jew would not consider killing you if you accidentally serve him non-Kosher food.

I believe so- probably something to do with not using bacon grease or pork fat or whatever for flavoring
Have to add more pork fat until it is halal enough for them.
Halal and Kosher—both have the animals prayed over as they are being slaughtered.,
Some, though not all, muslims consider nutmeg an intoxicant and therefor not halal. In really large quantities it can apparently be mind altering. But others have no problem with it when used as a spice.
Halal involves the slaughter of the animal by a specific individual who is facing Mecca and dedicating the animal to Allah as it is killed.
It means that Christians would b eating food sacrificed to false gods.
I suspect that’s the idea.
