DOJ Makes Jaw-Dropping Admission in Flynn Case – Prosecution “Mistakenly” .....

WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT – Prosecutor Brandon Van Grack sends a letter to Flynn’s defense team today containing a stunning, almost impossible to comprehend, admission of a mistake central to the claims of the prosecution. In March 2018 the FBI presented notes taken by agents Pientka and Strzok, now they say they made a ‘mistake’.

For almost two years the DOJ misidentified, misattributed, and never corrected that the authors of the Flynn interview notes were actually reversed.

“Never, ever talk to an FBI agent without lawyers present and cameras running.”

NEVER talk to the FBI for any reason under any circumstances. They are liars and crooks. Nothing good ever comes from talking to them.

Flynn wasn’t told it was an official interview. He thought he was giving a White House tour.

His lawyer last night on Fox.

If it were me in Flynn’s shoes, I’d say screw the money, I want the people who did this to me and mine rotting in Leavenworth.

I would too.

“Our government is 100% corrupt. Lawyers are the last line of defense against the government.”

Lawyers? They are the ones leading the corruption.

I lost my optimism and good cheer when Obama posted fake birth documents and it was totally ignored.

I’ve been numb since then.

Gosh. The FBI sure loses a lot of notes, emails, and text messages. Now they’re mixing up which notes get added to which report. It’s funny to how the errors and screw-ups always seem to be in their favor. One might think they were a bunch of criminals covering up a crime, but that would be wrong.

The Clinton machine and Obama sedition squad made this mess. The judge need not wonder who started the mess.

This prosecutor worked for Mueller. Mueller was not appointed by Clinton or Obama. He was appointed by defacto AG Rotten Rod with top cover from the GOP “If you fire Sessions there will be hell to pay” Senate. Therefore, this ongoing Deep State coup is provably bipartisan in nature.

That’s not an admission....that’s the way out for the FBI/DOJ to walk away from the case. Unless Sullivan compels them, which I doubt he’ll do, the case will/should be tossed and DOJ will decline to re-try General Flynn. Then all the dirty crap they did will be kept under wraps until Fitton and the rest of Judicial Watch gets them. By then it’s too late.

Agree 100%. That is what is going on now. DOJ is trying to punt public knowledge of their coupist activities over the November 2020 goal line.

I hope Flynn has been in on this all along for a different reason. If he hasn’t been, then he really comes across as a moron in this case.

LOL. You’re hatred of Flynn across many posts is very amusing. What is it he did to draw such ire? Agreeing to support POTUS when basically nobody else with his background would? Angering the kenyan so much that he fired him?

I am not a huge Flynn fan myself but given those two facts am more than happy to give him a mulligan or two. You might consider doing the same.

Wow. “Never talk to strangers” seems like another adage we learned in kindergarten.Especially don’t talk to the FBI.

Good questions!

I think it may cover up the edits to the original notes, which the government says these are...

But how could I hey be original - if the names on them are wrong? They can’t.

That would make this a deliberate fraud on the court, falsifying documents, and withholding of exculpatory evidence. (Destruction of evidence?)

What’s the big deal? Government Lawyers LIE and Perpetrate FRAUDS upon the Courts on a daily basis. All they do is Lie and Defraud in their effort to boost their scorecard.

Until Judges start REMANDING these Lawyers into Custody for a 120 day stretch in JAIL in General Population, and Recommendations for Permanent Disbarment Nothing will change, so I blame the Judiciary for allowing this to go on for as long as I have been alive.

Actually one other: the Ohio class SSBN Alaska with two d-5s. IMO the place is beyond fixing with the tentacles of the deep state and toxic libs and lobbyists choking the life out of liberty and our constitutional republic. We had an election and elected someone to change course. The deep state with its allies and due to self interest basically said the hell you did. Now three years into a nullification of that election. Want further proof of their reach? Dems won the entire state of Virginia last night. Deep state sprawl.
A malignancy that must be extinguished or we cease as a free lawful and fair country. It is critical to this country’s future that the perpetrators of these scams be prosecuted and hung. Too many on our side view it as a political game. It is not it is a deadly serious war.

This D.C. government of ours has caused many good people in this country to lose their optimism and good cheer. If that is all we lose, so be it.

But, may it be that the TREASONOUS are punished or this betrayal of the nation will not end. The breach of trust will only get worse.

True.

Now, please, remind me of *ANY* (R)N(C) member that’s even attempted to remedy the problem.

Yet, many here will be chanting in the coming months “Hold your nose”, “*MOST* important election EVER”, etc., etc., etc.,

I don't have Flynn at all.

I just lost a lot of empathy for him when I learned that he was working as a foreign lobbyist for the Islamic regime in Turkey while he was also serving as a national security advisor for Trump's "Make America Great Again" campaign.

His lobbying work completely undermined his credibility -- as well as Trump's credibility as a candidate -- in national security matters.

Take off your partisan blinders and look at it objectively. The outrage here on FR would be deafening if (for example) John Podesta was managing Hillary Clinton's campaign while also being paid as a lobbyist for Iran.

Exactly....and just like in the Stevens case, Sullivan will do nothing and the DOJ lawyers that presented this crap will walk away smiling. They did their job.

I’m not trying to be condescending, but, what 302s? In any criminal case that, EVERYTHING is supposed to be handed over to the defense. Notes, if kept, included. The Feds don’t record their interviews and are told to destroy their notes. So, they can write whatever they want in all the subsequent paperwork. And, unlike the way things are done in the ‘real world’, they’ve rigged the system in such a way that you have to prove your innocence rather than them proving your guilt.

They’re tossing this out there as bait so the Judge will declare that the whole case should be tossed and if the DOJ wants to, they can take another bite at the apple. Which, they will not do and say: it’s too expensive.....Gen Flynn has been through enough and retrying him won’t do anything....on further review of all the paperwork and reports, we’ve decided that his statements don’t warrant prosecution.....NO REASONABLE PROSECUTOR WOULD TAKE THIS CASE TO A GRAND JURY...something along those lines.

And Sullivan will agree, Gen Flynn will be let go, a destroyed man. And the DOJ/FBI will not have to admit to any wrongdoing, criminal activity, perjury, filing false reports. They’ll gin up some other event to wipe this whole thing off the front page, if it even gets that.
