Yes, its a loss—but we must gird our loins for the next battle. Virginia is lost, maybe Kentucky as well, but the war is still on. Lets see how Virginia likes being the new California.
Kentucky is solidly conservative. The GOP retained every position in Kentucky except for the governorship and it is only because the governor was massively unpopular. I am sure a GOP candidate will win Kentucky governor next election.
