Han people look down on the Uighers and Muslims. They would mostly like to avoid them and segregate them. Its at the root of their conflict in Western China. The Han Chinese don’t want to miscegenate with them. That’s a Muslim thing, not theirs.
I wouldn’t be that sure. It is an Asian thing above all, not limited to Muslims.
Makes total sense. 1. Kill all radicalized Islamist men (and sell their body parts). 2. Take the Han Chinese who can’t find brides (less than 40% of China is female because of selective abortions) and pair them up

imho we need to separate Uighur muslims from Hui Muslims in the Han chinese peoples’ eyes.
Hui are basically Han people with some Arab etc. ancestry who are Muslim. They look like Han, have similar customs, language etc. but stay away from pork. The Han don’t think too much of them - either good or bad.
Uighurs are Turkic and were Nestorian Christians before they converted to islam around the 13th century. They are a distinct nation.
The Chinese don’t mind “miscegenating” with them - “Chinese” have assimilated many, many groups over the millenia - Xianbei, Xia, Jurchen, Mongols, even Turkic groups
But everyone becomes “Chinese”
