A growing number of Millennials show support for communism and socialism, a survey from the Victims of Communism found.
The survey, conducted by the Victims of Communism and polled by the research and data firm YouGov, found that 70% of Millennials are likely to vote socialist and that one in three Millennials perceive communism as “favorable.” The survey is part of the Victims of Communism’s report “U.S. Attitudes Toward Socialism, Communism, and Collectivism,” which polled 2,100 people in the United States who were 16 and older with a margin of error of +/- 2.4%.

“The historical amnesia about the dangers of communism and socialism is on full display in this year’s report,” said Marion Smith, executive director of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation. “When we don’t educate our youngest generations about the historical truth of 100 million victims murdered at the hands of communist regimes over the past century, we shouldn’t be surprised at their willingness to embrace Marxist ideas,” Smith added. “We need to redouble our efforts to educate America’s youth about the history of communist regimes and the dangers of socialism today.”
Millennials polled also said they consider President Donald Trump the “biggest threat to world peace,” rating Trump as more dangerous to world peace than Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, or Chinese President Xi Jinping. Ten percent of Millennials said Trump is “responsible for more deaths and human rights abuses” than mass-murder and Russian leader Joseph Stalin or notorious German dictator Adolf Hitler.
Unless conservatives start doing something else besides angrily blogging and voting, the collapse will occur within this generation.

Public education is so utterly bereft of real world experience that children are taught and believe leftist fantasy.

In the mid 1940’s, my uncles, my father, my neighbors and many of their friends went to foreign countries, found people who tried to implement this type of thinking and killed them.
What they are establishing is that 90% of the public school teachers are teaching communism from the textbooks that were written by a cabal that is trying to overthrow America. Look into who writes your text books and how they relate to the Obama Administration.

Stalin’s NKVD goons murdered my great grandfather, and my family who couldn’t get out were essentially held as prisoners in a giant, open air, prison for 75 years. Yeah, Communism is sooooo great.
Sounds like about 1 in 3 millennials will need to be introduced to jumping out of a helicopter without a parachute during the upcoming North American war games.
I am surprised it is only 1 in 3 given the twelve to twenty years of indoctrination they have received at the hands of academia.
It’s a free country, for now... let ‘em live as socialists, marxists and communists. Whenever you catch ‘em stepping into the capitalist world, ridicule the hell out of them.

Headline really misses the worst part of it, IMO. Later in the article... “found that 70% of Millennials are likely to vote socialist.” It’s a very leftist generation and most of my fellow millennials are not growing out of it. Bad news for the future of the USA and the western world.

More educational than a Pell grant? So you don’t intend to pay to give Millennials an overseas vacation yourself, but expect us poor taxpayers to fund it after all! And it sound like you wanf us to fund full gap years for them at that!

That’s exactly my point. My Boomer uncle hated the hippies. I wasn’t a grunge fan. And there are lots of Millenials who aren’t pod-eating dopes. The opportunity, is for Deplorables to welcome that smart lot of Millenials onto the Trump Train.
