I’d consider them my enemy and you never trust the enemy... plus it’s a nice gesture to them to let them know they are not the only ones holding the cards. They have become dirt in this fight and dirt they shall remain as long as they are in congress. There is no way they could redeem themselves.. they have shown how low and how vicious they can be. They can never fix their reputation from all this.
I seem to recall a situation where something like that happened. That leaking caused some kind of operation to be cancelled. Does it ring a bell to anyone? It was maybe 2017 or 2018.
Well, they have openly expressed their desire for a Recession, Depression and economic collapse just so they could blame President Trump.

In the interest of full disclosure, Trump didn’t mention the raid to me either.
I believe they did, not necessarily Putin directly, but Russia as we had to fly over territory they control. I suspect it made it up the line. We take it as a given that US Congresspeople would have leaked the information. Yet it was known by Turkey, Russia, Iraq, I believe Syria and the Kurds. I’m sure all shared the information among those with a need to know. And no leaks. The US Congress, another story. Some of them would be expected to harm or country.
Maybe, I thought Osama got it from the NYTimes, not personally reading it but as the source. The Times had to get it from someone. My understanding, on learning his phone was being tracked, Osama gave it to an aide who he sent in one direction, while fleeing himself in the other.
That information was on a need-to-know basis, and Nancy-pants and Schitt didn’t need to know ahead of time.

I don’t know why not, either - but if not, why couldn’t the Senate just preemptively find Mr. Trump “Not guilty” by a majority vote? A 2/3 vote is necessary for conviction - an absolute majority against conviction should dispose of the issue.Isn’t it normal, after all, for a criminal defense to respond to the prosecution’s case initially by asking the judge to declare that the prosecution is defective and the defendant must be released?

He absolutely did told someone in Russia — probably Putin. He mentioned in his statement regarding permission to use Russian air space — not exactly what the mission was, but that it was important.
