White House counselor Kellyanne Conway had some words for Washington Examiner reporter Caitlin Yilek this week regarding how she handled their recent interview. Yilek's report largely focused on rumors about the new White House chief of staff, but she included a line about Conway's relationship with her husband George. George has made no secret of his dislike for President Trump and he and Kellyanne's political differences have made several headlines the past couple of years, and Yilek considered it to be relevant information. According to the Examiner, Conway and her staff phoned them after the report came out, gave Yilek an earful, mocked her and threatened her.
"Before ending the call, Conway threatened that the White House would delve into the personal lives of reporters if they wrote about her husband," the Examiner claims.
Conway disputed those claims during an interview with Fox News anchor Sandra Smith on Friday morning after Smith provided viewers the Examiner's account.
"None of it happened," Conway said. "No, of course not."
Conway told Smith that "respectfully," she "didnt need to show those three things because Ive already disabused everybody of what he said."
"I never said the conversation was off the record," she insisted. "I never commented on that one way or the other. Everything I said in that phone call, Ive said publicly before. Every single thing."
Conway shared that she asked the reporter why she calls herself a breaking news reporter when she practiced little more than lazy reporting. Not only that but in her subsequent reporting, she got Conway's kids names and ages wrong.
As for her relationship with her husband, she said, "none of that affects my job here. And none of this is anybodys business."
Conway encouraged folks to read her full statement on the matter.
The false tweet below makes my point about how dangerous it is to characterize someone elses intentions, feelings, or state of mind, even if its for clicks and kicks. https://t.co/v6df2aoU3T pic.twitter.com/B3Qzzra0uW Kellyanne Conway (@KellyannePolls) October 24, 2019
“Are you saying shes been the leaker all along?”
I’m saying her husband’s rantings make her suspect. Say you work for Ford in a high profile position. Now imagine your spouse is constantly bombing social media with negative comments about Ford, it’s quality, it’s design, it’s utility, etc. How long do you think you’d last at Ford?
During WWII, if you were in the military, and married to a German, or Japanese national, do you think that would red flag you?
Democrats are no less of an enemy than Germans or Japanese during WWII.
I believe Kellyanne.
Dang, I’m pretty good with words, but Kellyanne has me beat by a mile. She tore that reporter a new one, but with good arguments, not profane words.
Well, I don't think she is...
However, to settle the ridiculous question once and for all, I would need to conduct a very thorough physical exam, over a period of several days... Leaking can be an unintentional problem for some... It may be possible that a special tool can ameliorate the problem...
I would guess that Kellyanne is still in the marriage because of the kids-she is a good mom-she is reputed to be a much better lawyer than George, so he has probably been professionally jealous of her for a long time-and now she makes more money than he does, too-maybe he is physically abusive to her behind closed doors-he is certainly a world class verbal abuser. I’ll bet that as soon as the kids are older she will leave her fat, mean mouthed husband in the dust.
I admire her restraint and composure-I would have either shot that man or hired a couple of cowboys to beat the s*** out of him by now-but I have a Latin temper-apparently Kellyanne does not...
Sarah Huckabee is married to liberal democrats as well.

It's amazing the number of people here who want to see her gone simply because of the unhinged hatred her husband has for her employer and likely her.
Virtually every one of them refuse to acknowledge the victory her husband would claim if she did..........
Spousal abuse doesn't have to be physical, it can just as easy be mental. My niece experienced that for many years before she finally had enough and divorced the paranoid POS......
Even tho she unfortunately passed away a few years ago when the two daughters were 16 and 20 years old, they have never had contact with him as soon as they were old enough to make their own decision.
I’m sure that if she quit her great job, George would be gleeful and ramp up the emotional abuse-as a case managerI’ve seen that with workers comp clients when they were out of work with an injury-if they had a controlling, resentful partner/spouse, that person would instantly try to seize control of the relationship and finances if they could. Kellyanne Conway deserves a medal, in my opinion for not putting herself out of George’s misery...
Yes she does and I'm very disappointed in the number of members here who wish to see her gone simply because of her husband..........
With that being said, I don't know if I could successfully deal with the stress she is dealing with in both her job and her home life..........
That was the old Occam’s razor — emphasis on simplicity. Today’s new and improved razor comes with 4 blades. /smarta**
Kellyannes husband is a bitterly jealous and physically REPULSIVE dough boyhe is vomit-inducing.
I cant imagine their marriage being happy, not with that lard@ss husband of hers constantly embarrassing her.
Not smart of Kelly to not record any phone call with reporter.
Hard to prove what was and wasn’t said.
If Georgie is a mole he sucks at it.
I think he just a douche.
All presidential staff lines are monitored for security purposes. Especially included would be any calls that originate from either unidentified phone numbers or known press metadata identifiers
Or perhaps he can lick his his own eyebrows...
You tell 'em; baby!!
How many of them?
