Is this a "national" election? Meaning...can Trudeau lose his job after the votes are counted?
No,I don't know much about Canadian politics.

Different regions will have different party strengths unless theres a landslide.

Yes national and yes he could be booted but its like I hope the early hours of 2016 when the media were speculating how big a landslide H would have.

The Tories may pick up a few rural ridings in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and I will be reasonably happy with that. Regarding your other post about Quebec, the Bloc have made a resurgence there as Trudeau has disappointed many there, but there is also no Jack Layton or even Tom Mulcair to boost the NDP vote there, so the Bloc gets many of those sorts of votes by default. The Tories might pick up those few seats there as well, and I will be happy with that too.

Do you think Quebec will ever make another independence run?

I wonder if Trudeau knew that he was in some trouble and called on Barrack Obama to influence the election in his favor?
To: goldstategop
Don’t know what that means in Canadian elections but it doesn’t sound good,

No, because they would never ever be able to afford independence.

With all due respect (and I am no Beau Brummel), but your necktie is your chance to spice up your wardrobe a bit. I mean, you don’t have to sport a fish necktie, but Jeez, a touch of panache, gentlemen, please.

But to win, hey will need to take 905 ridings In ON now held by Liberals.
It will be a good night if the Tories succeed in it.
