It’s just the every day ignoring of policies; nothing malicious.
When I worked in a SCIF (For those that don't know that ACRONYM is: Secure Compartmented Information Facility) while in the military and I left with a thumb drive in my pocket. I was then randomly stopped by a security person my defense would be "I didn't mean to do it."
I don't think that would fly and I would no longer have my clearance. Different standard for the State Department I assume.
Right. Deliberately setting up a private server so you can hide all of your activities from government archives (and, hence, the public) isn’t “deliberate.”
Guess it’s ok to accidentally break the law.

Putting a secret email server in your house , NOT in a SCIF, to handle sensitive State Department communications shows absolute deliberate INTENT.
The act of creating and using a private server for classified government emails is by definition ‘deliberate mishandling of classified information’.
Deleting classified emails created while in government service is by definition ‘deliberate mishandling of classified information’.
Investigators finding your classified emails on another persons unsecured personal computer is by definition ‘deliberate mishandling of classified information’.
Guess it’s ok to accidentally break the law.

That’s the new standard, at least for Democrats. But imagine if any Republican or someone in the Trump administration did this. There would be outcries of risks to national security and calls for punishment.
Corruption and destructive partisanship are deeply embedded in our government. The people will have an opportunity to vote to remove it in 2020.
