So if you were the police officer thinking that a burglary might be in progress, and you look into a window and see a person pointing a gun at you, obviously you would have calmly and cooly stepped back and walked away? Come on. This is a tragedy and the a holes that are pandering to the civil rights crowd are disgusting.

Did the officer have a lawful reason to be other than at the front door? I think his failure to announce will be a major point in the case. She probably never saw him. Died Wondering if her nephew was going to harmed....

Look out your window tonight, lights on inside, dark outside, I doubt you can see a man next to the bushes.... Then, step outside, next to the bushes, you can see inside quite well. Why was he in the position he was in?

If he was peeking through windows, I’d think it would be easier to just duck than draw weapon and open fire. But so far the exact nature of what happened is speculative. That’s for the trial. My general assessment is that the cop was there to investigate a possible burglary, not go in blasting first and asking questions later. Think about this: should a person be able to carry a gun in their own home without being shot by a cop who’s peeking through the window, unannounced? It’s a yes or no answer.

LOL! And well said.

Unfortunately, this site has turned into something similar to DU and the like.

And they don’t even know they are being pandering to and are falling in lock step.
