Just wow. That’s the kind of behavior you would expect of an infantryman trying to neutralize a house occupied by enemy soldiers.
I would expect even a soldier to practice better target ID than this before letting loose.
a welfare check is when you knock on the door to make sure the resident is ok.

Cop shows up quietly in the middle of the night. Prowls around outside the house. Sees someone inside the house.
Perceives a threat?????
If the cop is going to feel threatened by that, maybe he should have stayed back at the cop shop.
Feels kind of like he created the whole ‘alleged’ threat situation himself.
And he sure cured it, yep he did.
