Turkey's Syria invasion: Member of US Special Forces says, 'I am ashamed for the first time in my career'
A member of U.S. Special Forces serving alongside the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria told Fox News' Jennifer Griffin on Wednesday they were witnessing Turkish atrocities on the frontlines.
I am ashamed for the first time in my career, said the distraught soldier, who has been involved in the training of indigenous forces on multiple continents. The service member, whom Griffin described as "hardened," is among the 1,000 or so U.S. troops who remain in Syria.
Turkey is not doing what it agreed to. Its horrible, this military source on the ground told Griffin. We met every single security agreement. The Kurds met every single agreement [with the Turks]. There was no threat to the Turks -- none -- from this side of the border."

Thank you sir.
President George Washington has been the only Commander-in-Chief who led troops on a campaign while in office. “General of the Army” with time in grade and time in service!!!
The Turks created and supported and support the Islamic state. They will free the jihadis and restart a war in Iraq. The Kurds have been burned thrice by the USA now.
Kurds are a diverse group. The largest political parties in Kurdish parts of Turkey and Syria are Socialist, not full blown commies. They oppose Islamic identity and want to replace it with Kurdish nationalism.
Modern day Kurds are nice enough to Christian’s there as long as they accept a Kurdish identity. This is bad for Assyrians who have a separate identity, but if you are a kurd in Syria you can freely convert to Christianity or Zoroastrianism or whatever.
Kids were the ones doing the killing during the Armenian genocide a hundred years ago but have since acknowledged and apologised.
The Kurds in Syria don’t want to overthrow the Turkish government, neither do the Kurds in Iraq or in Turkey.
The Kurds in Syria have a decades long record of being radical bomb throwers?
Syrian Kurds are said to be part of the PKK and...
On 20 March 2016, the PKK announced the establishment of Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement, a coalition of Maoists, Marxists-Leninists, Apoists, Communists and Hoxhaists which aim to attain "democracy and a free future" for "peoples against Imperialism, Capitalism, Chauvinism, Fascism and Racism", by working towards the overthrow of the ruling AKP (Erdogan) government, who they deem collaborative fascist.
Looks like Turkey lied and they are going deeper, Russia might hit them hard, If Turkey told Trump they were going no matter what I am glad he pulled them out but the press made it sound like he is letting them but seriously we weren’t going to bomb Turkey
