Congressman Jamie Raskin, D-Maryland, claims Trump has collected millions of dollars from foreign governments through his hotels, golf resorts, and other business ventures since the beginning of his term.
“He has made the presidency an instrument of self-enrichment,” he said.
“In the telephone conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky of Ukraine, Zelensky actually praises him for the hotel in New York,” Raskin continued. “He says, ‘oh yeah we stayed at the Trump Hotel in New York.'”...
“The Trump Organization donates any profits from foreign governments to the U.S. Treasury,” RNC spokesperson Liz Harrington said.

Absolutely it’s gone down. Trump is a brand name that’s been utterly trashed in the media for the past 3 years. I read last year tenants in his NYC buildings want the name Trump name removed from the front of the building as it devalues the condos they bought.
Trump renting out hotel rooms is like President Carter selling peanuts to other countries; the profits are not significant and not connected to the office. Voters knew about those existing businesses when they elected both men, so there is no conflict. This is very different from, for example, placing your son on the Board of Directors for a foreign company at $50k a month - something that apparently does not bother democrats at all.
If it weren’t for double standards, the left would have no standards at all. They have wanted President Trump impeached from the day he declared as a candidate. I no longer even consider their criticisms, since they simply repeat the latest of Trump’s actions, even routine actions like pulling out of an optional military actin in Syria, and shriek: “impeach!!!”
Jerk. President Trump has lost at least $400,000,000 during his term in office so far because he is taking care of the country instead of his private businesses. GFYS. (Obviously not directed toward the Freeper.)
I say we go down this road for EVERY MEMBER OF CONGRESS as well as the entire last Administration.
