The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday released volume two of its Russia investigation, which concluded that Russians sought "to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election by harming Hillary Clintons chances of success and supporting Donald Trump at the direction of the Kremlin," according to a committee press release.
The committee in the report focused on Russia's use of social media to influence the 2016 election, led by the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency (IRA).
"The Committee found that IRA social media activity was overtly and almost invariably supportive of then-candidate Trump to the detriment of Secretary Clintons campaign," according to the release.

Russia Facebook Ads:
I have to confess I was going to vote for Hillary until I saw these ads:
Why didn’t the Obama-Biden administration do anything about it???
Sure they did.
no wonder she lost-heh heh
This is burr and warner, not to mention bubble boy.
Why would the Kremlin want Trump to win when they had the goods on Clinton and had already bought her loyalty with about $125 MILLION in donations to the Clinton Foundation? It doesn’t make any sense at all.
I suspect this narrative is fixing to get blowed up.
I find this laughable at best considering the Clinton’s were taking in MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN BRIBE MONEY from Putin!!!
Q. What do those posts have in common?
A. The word “SPONSORED”.
Mark Zuckerberg was gladly cashing their checks. He did not give a damn what they were up to.
Senate Intelligence: “When Military Intelligence isn’t stupid enough”
Then why did they give Hillary anti-Trump dirt?
All they had were the Facebook ads. The Democrats wouldn’t turn over the DNC server.
Bullshine.
At best this was some Russians who wanted clicks. Clicks = money. Simple as that.
For extra credit, if the Russians were working to elect Trump, how does the Steele piss dossier help in that effort?
Our government lies so much that now the lies laughingly conflict with each other and they simply move on to the next lie.
Who between Clinton and Trump could Putin blackmail and manipulate?
REALITY CHECK Hillary once bragged that she, alone, was brought into Putin's inner sanctum
where she assured Putin she was worried about wildlife like he was.
Putin whispered to an attentive Hilary that they were BFF.
Secy Hillary and Obama were eager to please Russia w/ the friendly reset button.
Hillary later said the reset gambit was Obama's and her idea "to strengthen Russia."
==============================================
Ex-Pres Clinton is s-o-o-o-o friendly he traveled to Russia to clinch the uranium giveaway deal.
And to pocket a $500,000 dollar speaking fee from a Moscow bank plus a sizeable commission.
Billybooboo laid his "Hot Damn Hokey Hillbilly Act" on Putin.
Billy was then an ex-pres and had NO official govt role.
Russia wanted Hillary to win. They tried to make it appear Russia was backing Trump so he would be seen as compromised and people would vote for Hillary.
The laughable ads they produced for Facebook show they were using social media to discredit Trump and his supporters as fools.
It makes sense from the Senators’ point of view.
They do not want any light shining on their own corruption. Period................
So how many posts are we talking about?
If I recall from the earlier report it was something about hundreds of thousands of spammed messages on Facebook. Not millions. Not engaging in voter fraud or election fraud - hundreds of thousands of fake news and blog posts masquerading as pro-Trump comments on social media.
Contrasted to the MILLIONS of fake news and blog posts generated by our own media on the same social media. (And lets not get started with what Obama and the Dems did with Israels elections)
Its like the senate lays down a heavy tone of conspiracy and trying to swing the election by saying Russians called 1000 voters to support Trump.
And a bigger question... was this payback for Dem influence in Ukraine and trying to start a civil war there?
