Internal divisions within the White House are straining staff and should be considered a sign of an "impending disaster," as House Democrats prepare to launch an all-out impeachment effort against President Trump, says Joe Lockhart, a former press secretary for the Clinton administration.
"Theres a split between the presidents aides and the vice presidents aides. And that is always a sign of impending disaster," Lockhart said Thursday on CNN's "New Day."

Wasn’t he the one in the ‘The White Wash’ picture, that was popular here at the time?
Why do they think people will take it seriously? Because they think we worship H!, their leader, the way they do.
Contrary to tradition, they do not think independently as we do
I don't trust Pence at all. Your comment sums it up. He does JUST what he needs to do to appear loyal to Trump...but that's all. He doesn't seem to go out of the way to defend Trump or his policies.
Vie President Pence has been extremely vocal and outspoken in his support and defense of President Trump.
Pence has has Trump’s back 100%.
No Im being facetious - are YOU that stupid?
What GOP leaders are out there that we could choose from for conservative values? There are NONE!
Romney was a tiny bit serious - strategically that would shut Romney up and any attackers to Trump would be mostly silenced because Romney could easily run in 2016. Ultimately Im sure it wouldnt work though and Im not sure Id want to vote for mittens in 2016 anyway.
Regardless - Trump has to pass the reigns to someone in 5 years and there doesnt seem to be anyone on the horizon.
But after the wretched 0bama regime, and the ongoing spew of lies from Big Media, it should be plainly obvious that NOTHING they regurgitate should be viewed as true.
Perfect!!
Yes. Pompeo is the answer if Pence must be replaced.
He seems very capable, and he doesn’t make crazy statements that become distracting Sound Bites.
Pence being selected as Vice-President was the main reason I began to warm up to Donald Trump as the nominee.
I was much more comfortable with Cruz, Paul, and Huckabee, but when Trump picked Pence, I felt sure that there would be strict-constitutionalists picked for the federal courts. And, it seemed to telegraph that Trump would govern as a conservative.
Pence is a rock-ribbed conservative.
Newt is better on the outside.
So you buy that from Lockhart?
LOL, I have heard some great compilations put together with "Beginning of the End", "Walls closing in", "Impeachment", "Tipping point", "New bombshell", etc.
Yeah. These are the people I go to for information!
Romney is a full blown commie traitor Rat.
I make the assumption that you don’t buy the BS being put out on this, but simply think Trump could have found someone better than Pence?
Seriously?
Really?
When?
RomneyCare was never serious and accepted his fate as a slaughtered GOP nominee.
Hahahahaha...GMTA...I just posted nearly the same thing!
“I never thought Pence was a good choice.
Hes been adequate. Not stellar.”
Yep. Well Trump’s personel selections in general have not exactly been stellar. We will see how Barr turns out.
“Religious Freedom Rights Act. Indiana law.”
That was the first thought I had when people were suggesting Pence for Vice President. I think he caved within the first 36 hours when the national press started the harassment. It showed me right then and there he could not stand the pressure. Most people voted for Trump because he was a fighter.
