GOP National Committee taking local "House" ads (vanity)
Local television CBS wrgb schenectady ny | 10/3/2019 | self vanity

I have no evidence" or link. However I was somewhat shocked to see TWO new ads running. One from Trump attacking the Dems for being mired in endless fake investigations rather than working to solve issues.

The more surprising ad came from The GOP National committee (RNC?).

They were attacking Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19). This District is above NYC and below Albany, the Capital. It's considered leaning GOP but is poisoned by many NYC liberals who escaped the city. Former Governor George Pataki grew up in Pawling NY.

Delgado, a Black rapper from NYC moved into the district and Beat incumbent John Faso. Faso a somewhat cerebral introvert lawyer who once was Minority leader in the NYS Assembly. A poor campaigner made worse by his obvious refusal to identify as a Trump supporter - he got beat.

Interesting that the GOP is starting to spend money in this district which should be a (R). I'm posting to see if anyone else is noticing ad buys in swing house seats - Perhaps the Utica NY seat held by a Dem in a +19 Trump District - one of 10 who have yet to support impeachment.

If this continues and the messaging continues to align with a pro-Trump vision - I'll have to say I'm impressed.

I’ve seen GOP ads attacking Abigail Spanberger here in Central VA. She defeated good guy Dave Brat in 2018; hopefully she’ll be gone next year.

Great news, perhaps they actually have a plan while the Dems dig their own political graves with these endless fake investigations - I think people will respond favorably to the R message.

We need to spend, spend, spend to take back the House. Please donate to Trump AND your congress critter. If your congress critter is a flaming liberal, give to a PAC like https://www.housefreedomfund.com/

Note, small numbers of donations (YOU) can be aggregated and become large.

Agreed, but the messaging needs to be consistent, Congress can run a national campaign rather than local, or at least a combined message. The local Dems are not supporting local constituents, they are supporting Pelosi and the national Dem fake attacks on Trump.

I saw Eric Early (R) announce he is running against Adam Schiff in Burbank, CA district. I also have seen an ad on my iPhone for a gal who is running against Nancy Pelosi.....The democrat leaders should all be. Overthrown including the socialist 4! As much as I feel so many retiring republicans hurt our chances to retake the house, Atleast we are getting rid of those anti-Trumper establishment critters.

I think the GOP has a chance in a significant number of swing districts, Pelosi will be hard to beat but we lost 29 seats.
The 2018 elections were the third midterm elections since 2005 in which the President’s party lost control of the House of Representatives. Democrats defeated 29 Republican incumbents and picked up 14 open seats.

Antonio Delgado is also a lawyer, as well as, a former rapper, for complete disclosure. I hope he is defeated though for sure.

Any so-called Moderate or “Blue Dog” Democrat that casts their vote to impeach POTUS, donald J. Trump will have ended their political careers by casting that vote.

Actually if the thirty or so, Moderate/Blue Dog Democrats had an ounce of smarts and common sense they would immediate switch political parties and become GOP House representatives...period. Pelosi & Schiff are destroying the entire Democrat Party...politically!!!

The ones that survive 2020 will make that switch.

Trump’s and the RNC’s best (and probably only) bet to win back the House is to nationalize ALL House elections, focusing only on the insane issues being promoted by the Dem leadership, and forcing ALL Dem candidates to take a stance on each and every such issue. The Dem candidates must be made to endorse, deny, waffle, or dodge on every such issue, and depending on the district, any one of those responses is a loser ....

I would love to see a national ad tailored to attack every Dem as follows:

“The Democrats are demanding the following be made into the law of the land if they win the House: [and then short clips of various nutjob Dems in Congress espousing nutjob positions such as CONFISCATING guns from law-abiding citizens, free medical care for illegal aliens while taking away health care from all actual citizens, opening the border, making illegal immigration legal, raising taxes, shutting down U.S. energy production, taxpayer paid “reparations”, and many others] and then saying “Is [Dem-name-here] REALLY going to vote for what his/her party is demanding if elected? You really should ask him/her and make him/her commit one way or the other? Your life could depend upon it ...

I hope CT-5 and CT-2 can be flipped... The only blue area is really Waterbury (which is not that blue) in the 5th and in the 2nd.. Mansfield, Windham, Middletown and New London (college towns).

Perhaps the Utica NY seat held by a Dem in a +19 Trump District (Brindisi)

Claudia Tenney, who lost to Brindisi, has thrown her hat in, a Trump supporter. The biggest reason for her loss was the lack of support from local GOP and a morning radio announcer that hates her guts.

Ugh, local GOP committee's are worthless, patronage mills.
