Testimony and documents submitted by State Dept. Inspector General didn’t agree with Dem propaganda. Dems go berserk at being confronted by actual facts.
So apparently, the reason the Dem considered it an “irrelevant distraction” is because it was information about the Bidens and their Ukraine connection. The Dems aren’t interested in that, just like they weren’t interested in Hillary’s server, Benghazi or anything else that might reflect badly on their people.

Another option is that some of the State employees have stated that they want to be able to discuss this information when deposed but it has to be briefed to congress and declassified where possible. Resisting the resistance?
