Probably not. Those devices are for afib where the heart beats extra fast. Heart blockage that causes heart attack may only be directly known by cath lab procedures. Indirect methods include checking blood for troponin, ekg, scans. His only symptoms may have been chest pain.

They say they use Electrocardiogram but then supposedly they also do a high speed CT scan to look for deposits in arteries along the walls. I was thinking of getting one but wondered if it was worth the radiation.

afib where the heart beats extra fast****

That is one of the symptoms for Atrial Fibrillation

From the Mayo Clinic:

During atrial fibrillation, the heart's two upper chambers (the atria) beat chaotically and irregularly — out of coordination with the two lower chambers (the ventricles) of the heart.
It's very uncomfortable but the heart, in some cases, can be "reset" with that shock paddles thingie (defibrillator).

Worked for me, and there is also medicine that must be taken to keep the heart from jumping back into afib.

All those ads on TV bout afib are a scam.

Go directly to a cardiologist.
