"During a campaign event yesterday evening, Sen. Sanders experienced some chest discomfort. Following medical evaluation and testing he was found to have a blockage in one artery and two stents were successfully inserted. Sen. Sanders is conversing and in good spirits. He will be resting up over the next few days," said Sanders’ senior adviser Jeff Weaver on Wednesday in a statement. "We are canceling his events and appearances until further notice, and we will continue to provide appropriate updates.”

time is of the essence when there is a blockage and all cardiologists know that, and all the ones I've ever dealt with have told me they’d much rather do a angiogram that was a false alarm the not do one and have another dead patient on their handsWhen I had progressively worse chest pains I had my son take me to the ER
I walked quickly past the bank of windows with triage people yelling at me "Hey stop you have to sign in and give us $100" I yelled back my son will take care of that.
I went right through the doors to the ER and said I'm having a heart attack.
Before I knew it I was put on a gurney and given anesthesia and woke up a while later with a stent.
My anterior artery was completely blocked.
The doctor on call was the head of my Cardiology doctor's office. The best they had.
[I changed over to him as my cardiologist because I was seeing probably one of the worst Dr's in the practice.]
Fortunately I had no heart damage.
My older brother had a stent some time before this and my younger brother had one a few years later.
My father had had a quadruple by pass and my maternal grandfather had heart procedure also.
So I think it is somewhat hereditary but maybe mostly eating habits.
I was switched over to entresto for blood pressure regulation a few years ago.
It was very expensive and my cardiologist gave me a lot of samples he had.
Now I just have a small co-pay cause I have good Rx insurance.
Entresto is touted to be very helpful for people with heart problems.
As for the Pelosi/Schiff press conference...it was a total joke fake news merry-go-round. Seriously both Pelosi and Schiff belong in mental institutions...like right now.******

In his early 60’s Tim Russert took one of the stress tests on a treadmill.
I’ve done one of those and they push you to the limit.
I don’t know if it is true or not, but the report was that he died while on the treadmill.
Reporting his medical issue in a timely manner would have taken attention away from the impeachment narrative.
My fear is that the American people do not get it.
