Here is my monthly update for Twitter follower growth among presidential candidates for the 2020 election - updated for October 1, 2019.
For the second month, President Trump has earned 1,200,000+ new Twitter followers and nobody else even comes close.
Pocahontas Warren was the Democrat leader during the summer but for September, Andrew Yang edged her out by obtaining nearly 150K new followers to Warren's 140K
Bernie the Socialist picked up around 110K new supporters but "Quid Pro" Joe Biden was shy of 75K new followers. An anemic performance for a supposed front-runner. I should mention that it was only the last week of September that the whole Biden mess with respect to Ukraine came to the forefront.
As you can see below, it trails off quickly from there. We even have the likes of Vermin Supreme creeping into my Top 20. This is a reflection of how weak the Democrat field really is. And Beto O'Rourke actually LOST supporters so he fell right to the bottom of my complete list (now over 50 candidates).
I will state again...President Trump gained over 1.2 MILLION new followers in September for a total of over 65,000,000.
This is why we have the "Hail Mary" impeachment gambit by the desperate Democrats. It's also why Hillary Clinton is likely to stagger into the race. Hillary to the rescue! Would not be surprised to see her make my chart next month.
Lastly, four years ago at this time, Donald Trump was taking the race by storm, gaining over a half million followers a month at this point in 2015. There is nowhere near that level of excitement among the Democrat field. Nobody is breaking out.

He's currently #34 and he gained 84 followers during September on the Twitter handle @TomSteyer.
I'm tracking over 50 candidates currently, including such long shots as John McAfee and Jack Fellure.

I gained more than 84 followers in September...just for perspective.
I got over 7,000 followers. All that and five bucks buys me cup of coffee at Black Rifle.
