Not if the Senate won’t let him. I do not have a warm fuzzy about Congress and what they’ll do to Trump.
I don’t think the house will even vote to take up impeachment. Right now, it’s just talk to keep it in the news.
You never have anything positive to say about anything.
EXACTLY!!!
Remember, the REPUBLICAN controlled Senate in ‘99 voted 99-0 to NOT have witnesses during Clinton’s trial.
"So Senator, you remember that little trip you took down to the Caribbean on Mr. Epstein's plane? Don't look so shocked, Mr. Senator. Making sure that excursion was, shall we say, well-documented - well, that's just business."
"No, no! You don't even have to speak out against the President right now if you don't want to. We know how hard it is for a Republican to make a firm stand on any issue. All we need is your vote - later. Just have your staff create a statement like "Having seen the evidence, I am regretfully forced to conclude..." It's easy stuff. None of those naughty Caribbean photos of you will ever see the light of day, and you'll even get a lot of extra time on CNN to help with your campaign - as the 'principled conservative' and all that."
"Now, what do you say, Mr. Senator? Play your cards smart, and you may have a long career ahead of you in this town. Maybe even the Big Chair, eh? We know you've been thinking about it. You vote smart and certain people could help you make it happen."
