The very fact the whistle blower is made public will go a long way towards indemnifying him from physical harm.True, as it could pertain to physical harm, but he'd have to sequester himself on the upper east side to avoid hate and ridicule where ever he ventured.

How does a low-level Federal employee afford an army of lawyers? Who is paying? A Federal employee cannot accept pro-bono work from political groups. That violates the Hatch Act.
