They may not care now, but they will when the left takes over and officially voids the Constitution. Some of them may become radical useful idiots for the Socialist overlords, incorrectly believing that they can bring power into their lives by promoting powerful thugs. Others may even be horrified at the purges that typically follow socialist takeovers. The loss of our modern conveniences/technologies will no doubt have some effect, but it is difficult to predict. Regardless, everyone *will* care when it is too late.
