A jewish person raping and murdering a 13 year old girl is hardly anti Semitic. No one said every Jew does that.

The KKK was EXTREMELY active back then, all over the South and Mid-West. They and the local ministers ratcheted up the anti-Frank/Semitism feeling, so did some of the local press. It was a "feeding frenzy" akin to the Kavanaugh hysterics; perhaps worse!
