Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire is set to testify Thursday morning before the House Intelligence Committee about a whistleblower's complaint that helped trigger a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
The Hill will be providing updates as the hearing unfolds beginning at 9 a.m.
Halls are packed nearly two hours before hearing
7:30 a.m.
Press cameras lined the hallways more than two hours before the high stakes hearing was set to begin.
Members of the public also began forming lines hours beforehand in the hopes they could hear Maguire speak about his handling of the whistleblower complaint.
Why were there more Dims on this committee even when Nunes/Pubs were in charge?
Schiff is throwing conflict of interest at Maguire, but Maguire’s not throwing the whistleblower’s conflict of interest (quite a core factor) right back at him.
Sad. Again.
Maguire actually vouched for the good faith veracity of the whistleblower. Amazing stuff. Maguire must be terrified about the legal bills about to hit him.
He KNOWS the whistleblower was found to have political bias. Has not mentioned it once. This is disgraceful and the acting DNI, for all his accolades, had been little more than a punching bag to this point.

Just sent President Trump $100.00 for his reelection campaign. May not seem like much to some here, but for me this was the largest donation I’ve ever given a politician in my adult life. Also called Pelosi’s office and left blistering message for all that’s worth.
The coup against our President is staggering in its relentlessness. Yet he just keeps winning. God be with President Donald J. Trump, surround his family & Staff with His protecting angels, and finally shield our President from this onslaught. Amen.
Then it behooves someone in that room to ask him why he has not brought it up. I assume someone in the House GOP has at least one staffer who isn't taking Ukrainian bribes or marching orders from Mitt Rmoney.
Repub is now doing better.....saying this complaint is politically motivated.
Also said the impeachment moves are an insult to the American people.
That is a question that the Republicans need to ask him. If he brings that up without someone asking he loses his non political standing.

Sewell was difficult to hear....using her question to give her opinion rather than seek an answer which he kept giving and she would interrupt. “Clearly” she just wanted to hear herself and nothing more.
