Halls are packed nearly two hours before hearing

Members of the public also began forming lines hours beforehand in the hopes they could hear Maguire speak about his handling of the whistleblower complaint.

“I believe the whistleblower acted in good faith”

As soon as he said that my impression that this Maguire fellow is part deep state.

Because folks, really?

If this Maguire believes that this whistleblower acted in good faith and says so during this hearing.....either he's lying or an idiot. Maguire is zero in my book.

How do you like this. The Democrat lawyer and former SPLC pimp, who pushed this whistleblower to complain and is trying to raise money for him, himself left government precisely because he officially complained about -- wait for it -- government surveillance!!

You want to bring this charade to a halt, Republicans, you haul this douchelord into Congress and oath him.

He was the section chief for internet freedom in the State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.

Tye says, he became very concerned about the manner in which Americans’ communications were being collected and stored under a Reagan-era executive order...And Tye says its loopholes are being exploited."

Schiff is already getting frustrated because the DNI won’t tell him what he wants to hear.

Not a good strategy to start by pissing off your witness. Creating an adversarial exchange. That way they can claim that he was “protecting the President” if he doesn’t parrot back what they want him to say.

McGuire getting rattled. Needs to slow down. Schiff using prosecutorial tricks to tease out soundbites.

That’s the firm, “Whistle Blower Aid.”

Thanks for the reminder link.

I read a different one, which added that this firm was willing to provide financial support to whistleblowers, including temporary medical coverage. It was a major effort to drum up adversarial claims for the purpose of political law-fare.

Schiff just trying to get a soundbyte too to use as the DNI agreeing POTUS committed dBm impeachable offense. And damn,I gotta say, this guy needs to nut up. Schiff is walking him. He’s making Mueller look like a grand orator.

You can see today why the Senate GOP didn’t want Ratcliffe as DNI. They want to deny POTUS an effective staff.

The GOP as an institution must be held accountable for its role in the ongoing coup.

Zaid, Bakaj... sound like names from the Muslim part of the world. Might not be anything in those names, or might be part of a deep antipathy towards Trump.

Not to mention, these guys were CIA connected!

Exactly. And Nunes can say whatever he wants but it will never see the light of day in the gaslighting media. That’s why above all we need action supporting POTUS from the GOP Senate. Starting with a subpoena of Biden Jr.

Schiff playing gotcha with technical legal terms to make it appear that he is hiding something for the presidents benefit.

McGuire protecting himself from Schiffs legalize to try to demean and paint him as a Trump protector.
