Former Carrier of ‘Nuclear Football’: Whistleblower Broke ‘Circle of Trust’

Buzz Paterson, the White House military aide who carried the “nuclear football” information for former President Bill Clinton, said that a member of the intelligence community broke the “circle of trust” by filing a complaint with the Intelligence Community Inspector General about a private phone call President Trump had with a world leader, as well as leaking this information to Congress.

According to media reports, the intelligence official had filed a complaint with the ICIG alleging an inappropriate promise made by the president.

“I was President Bill Clinton’s Air Force military aide from 1996 to 1999,” Patterson told The Epoch Times, explaining that he lived and worked in the White House while serving Clinton.

“When it comes to making or receiving phone calls for the president, I was the call screener for calls when the rest of the staff went home,” Patterson said. “A lot of times it was Russia, occasionally China, sometimes Egypt or the UK.”

Patterson explained the process by which the President asks the military aide to put him on the line with a foreign leader, “The military aide goes to the State Department, makes sure the military aide is on the line as well, then we talk to whoever the handlers are for the foreign leader.”

“Oftentimes, President Clinton would say would you stay on the line and take notes? The NSC (National Security Council) and State Department would also do that—we would all listen in when the 2 principals talk. Sometimes he would say to me, get me on the line with the (foreign leader) and don’t be on the line. And we would do that. I sat in on or listened to countless phone calls between President Clinton and foreign leaders,” Patterson said.

“Why do we fund an openly Marxist propaganda outlet? Why are we forced to do this?”

I suggest you ask former House speakers John Boehner and Paul Ryan. Even though all government spending must originate in the House of Representatives, neither could use their Constitutional power to cut a single federal agency or major program. Planned Parenthood - still getting millions. PBS/NPR, still on the dole — should have been privatized. Amtrak — ditto. US Postal Service, still getting subsidies while giving Amazon rates not accessible to average citizen and likely below cost. Grants to liberal social justice organizations and consultants which pass money directly to the DNC and Democrat candidates — the spigot still flows.

Anyone who believes any Republican legislator is going to stop wasteful spending and taxpayer funding to socialist organizations is kidding themselves. None of them have a stomach for a real fight over anything.

I think it's pretty difficult for Trump to even know who the Lefties are. They pop up every once in a while and were originally thought to be loyal to the president.

How does he find good people to work for him and the WH when the entire DC area is full of Swamp creatures? Where does he get loyal, conservative employees from?

It can't be easy when he's focused on saving the country.

Cut off their campaign donations and see what a fight you get. :)

They do the bidding of those who contribute the most money.
