Wasn’t it Democrats who threw Franken under the bus in a vain attempt to get Trump on the alleged Stormy Daniels affair? Besides, they knew their own governor would replace him with someone just as bad.
It's not just revenge for Franken - democrats have become hysterical shrieking harridans on almost every issue.
Maybe it’s a good thing they are preoccupied with the absurd. . .less time to be meddling with the “people’s business” changing the course of this country to a more socialistic state.
Possibly except a) there was photographic evidence against Franken, none with Kavanaugh, and b) it was the Democrat women that led the lynch mob against Franken. Most of the GOP stayed quiet.
Actually, with the information we are getting about Arabella, it looks like they were targeting all four possible candidates.
The signs and websites were already setup for all four.

If Turbin Durbin is your voice of reason, your party is sunk. The wheels are coming off the clown car, they can’t sustain this another year, they will try, but it is going to fall apart in the most spectacular way.
They are making President Trump look like the reasonable level headed statesman that he is, which is what they are trying not to do, but are failing hard at it.
However, we should always campaign and vote like we are 10 points down, it worked last time. And the dems are not going to be assuming they are winning this cycle.
