Jefferson sent an expeditionary force to invade the Barbary States to protect U.S. shipping on the open seas. He didn’t send them there to protect some Islamic royal family in a Third World dump.

AC, neither is Trump. He is contemplating action on a regime that threatens a vital worldwide commodity. And, in case some people don’t realize it a threat to a vital worldwide commodity INCLUDES the USA. Every family and Every Industry.
And, I must repeat this fact, Iran is responsible for more DEATHS of Americans since the 70’s than any other country on earth. Long past time for retribution.
