They claim that the two fires are under control but if you watch the video at the site you'll know there must be extensive damage and you don;t repair refineries too easily. This is the WORLD'S largest refinery.

A few more attacks like this would be bad publicity for the potential IPO of ARAMCO.

Which is to say, proxies of Iran attacked the Saudis.

Time for the Saudi coalition to wipe out Yemeni terrorists.

Reminiscent of Saddam's burning of the oil fields back in '91. Also, doesn't look like fires are "under control."

Seems to be the drones used have quite a range to have been launched from Yemen.

Seems like a pretty big escalation here. Iran is just asking for a real beat down. I expect after Trump is reelected the Saudis and Israelis will take care of them.

Would I be wrong in saying our intelligence would know from where these were sourced? Could we not take out these installations in Yemin?

I worked for ARAMCO 2013 to 2015.

Was originally supposed to work in the hospital in Abqaiq, but got sent to Hofuf instead, further south and inland. The Abqaiq camp is built around that giant refinery and potential loss of life of ARAMCO employees and their families is pretty big. It’s close enough to Dharan that the folks at ARAMCO headquarters will see/smell it.

Third terrorist attack on that facility. One in 2006, a minor one in 2015 with a shooting at the main gate and now this one.

These kind of attacks on ARAMCO are an existential threat to the Saudi state.
EVERYONES Rice Bowl in Saudi is tied to ARAMCO.

Where did the Houti get drones? They sure as heck didn't build them.

This would be good news for Alberta, if it could only get its oil to the coast to go on the world market.

Thanks Trudeau, for all that you do for my province.

Thanks for nothing.

Houthi drones, bought from the Iranians and flown by the CIA.

Someone, somewhere is pulling out their hair saying, “What the hell do we have to do to get a war started here.”

//A little sarcastic

Good thing America is now energy independent. Oh wait, the dim/socialists say we shouldn’t be with their insane green policies.

Somebody is really agitating for more war.
Anyone else remembering Hillary and Obama rattling the saber for war with Russia?

The US is basically energy sufficient and is now exporting oil. Losing Saudi production might benefit us as it opens the market to more exports. Ironic that most of the Democrat candidates would kill our oil and gas energy and kill our economy.

Every Oil refinery/chemical plant in the world is subject to drone attacks. Very hard to defend against.

Are these the same type of drones that may have started the CA wildfires?

Even tho the USA does not get a lot of oil from there anymore, you can bet gas prices will shoot up. They choose anything that happens in the world to drive up prices. Iran shoots at the Kurds and gas prices shoot up! Why? Because they use anything to drive them up. Hell, Manchester City can score two goals on Liverpool and gas prices will go up 20 cents!!! Any excuse. Any.
