Most Americans see catastrophic weather events worsening...............Gee, I wonder why???????????......
The weather isnt worsening, so much as the babes on the weather channel are getting more hysterical.
When I was YOUNG, 75 years ago, approaching DANGEROUS weather was something you heard about ONCE or TWICE a day on the radio. Two or three days after the storm (!) passed wherever, you “may” have seen a picture or two in an evening paper.
TODAY, you hear about the approaching storm 24/7 every ten minutes wherever you look. You are told how many feet offshore the storm is.
Then you get LIVE, on the spot at the moment of the horrendous destruction as it occurs, by the second. You get arial views of the destroyed towns. There is no escaaping.
Today’s hyping does alert people and I believe actually helps lower the worst part of the storm....the DEATH TOLL.
Things and be rebuilt.....people cannot.
THAT is difference between the weather of Today and that of the past.
Most Americans believe the media.
Most Americans are duped. Maybe then I should be too...to fit in?
