CNN political analyst David Gergen said Wednesday that action to counter climate change has become a "moral imperative" as Hurricane Dorian inched its way up the East Coast.
During a discussion of a recent trip to Greenland on "CNN Newsroom," Gergen claimed U.S. cities should prepare for massive flooding if polar ice caps continue to melt.
I went [to Greenland] thinking it was a practical imperative to deal with climate change. I came away feeling its a moral imperative," he said. "When you see whats happening in Greenland, it is an early -- it's an early set of signals about whats going to happen to the globe."
"The glaciers are retreating, they're breaking off and forming icebergs," he continued. "Theyre beautiful icebergs, but theyre breaking up. There is a growing danger that the icecap will melt in Greenland and well have -- there wont be a big icecap in the summer... We could have cities in the United States engulfed in floods.

There you go with all that pesky truth and scientific fact of the matter, there is no place for that concerning this topic. S/
They do know that ice decreases in volume as it melts, right?
Well, if a CNN AnalCyst says so, ...
Meant to say as water freezes it increases in volume. And vice versa.
So WHY did OBUNGHOLE buy a BEACH FRONT MANSION about 4 feet above sea level?
OK, Davey. Let's put our thinking caps on and work really hard. How did the Titanic sink? And where did it come from? Happens every season, Davey boy.
Gergen continues to demonstrate he is as dumb as a post!
"It was the Jews.......Iceberg, Goldberg, Greenberg....what's the difference?"
Obama just bought a high-dollar mansion on Martha’s Vineyard, 200 feet from the ocean and a couple of feet above sea level. If he is not worried about rising sea levels neither am I.
There is so much melting in Greenland that thousands of acres of old farmland are being exposed
We are at the end of an inter glacial. If we did not see evidence of warming, we would be in big trouble. Idiot.
I used to think Gerden was intelligent...
She should be more afraid of rivers. They empty out into the ocean too, but there are a lot more of them. Millions of gallons a day, filling up the ocean.

JFC. There was a reason the place was called ‘Greenland’ originally
The real “moral imperative” is to ignore Climate Change Theorists like Gullible.
If some promises this “melting ice cap” will take away CNN, I’m all for it.
In other news Obama buys $15 million mansion right on the ocean shore.
I hope that every one of these lying grifters ends up in hell when they die.
