How can anyone justify this travesty? He WAS the guy who did the shooting and there was NO justification of his defending his life from Kate innocently standing with her father.

As an IMMIGRANT, this makes me sick to my stomach...
I have had to take a break from these pages to survive mentally this summer..
Yes I’m here and lurking but trying to stay afloat without going insane...
I am also a veteran and last week the government finally did something for the vets in our area...
After SIXTEEN YEARS of trying, the money and land already donated in our county etc, we finally had the groundbreaking for a veterans home for disabled and older vets...
Its crazy that illegal aliens can get free housing on the spot and free everything else but our hero American citizen veterans have to wait YEARS...
(Several of the vets who first pushed in congress etc for the home are now dead and never got to see their tireless efforts realized...)
The first building will have 120 beds...due to be completed next year...
There are 50,000 vets in our area (5,6 SE TN states)
BTW there are half a million veterans in TN...the volunteer state...
50,000 illegal aliens sneak through our southern border every month or so...
and they all get beds...
Of the 50,000 homeless and living on the LA streets many are veterans...
but nobody asks an IMMIGRANT what they think...

His attorney, Tony Serra, told The Associated Press that trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 13 and added that the appeals court reversal will give state prosecutors the option to re-try Garcia-Zarate.
“That kind of error causes reversals all the time. Then the prosecution has the prerogative of going again,” Serra said.
No it doesn’t! They can only retry him on the gun possession charge. He’s been acquitted of the other charges so it would be double-jeopardy to retry him.
The guy is just going to plea bargain with the prosecutor and will get off with “time served.” And then they still won’t deport him to Mexico. And I bet you he’s going to demand damages for being incarcerated so long on a “minor charge.”
This whole thing is a travesty of justice.
The Left is using this guy as a way to get at Trump...that’s all that’s going on here.
For any immigrant who comes here legally and goes through the process, I’m happy to give them a fair shake.
And if they then go through the process to get citizenship, I’m happy to say “Welcome, fellow American.”
But I have absolutely no sympathy for illegals.
