We all understand that getting older tests our deficiencies during times like storm prep. Start early, take it slow, give yourself plenty of breaks and plenty of water or Gatorade. Don’t ever be embarrassed to request assistance to secure your home and property. Simply add an extra day or so to the window of opportunity to allow for others’ schedules. Remember to provide some sort of compensation for their time and efforts. Compensation doesn’t always have to be money. Perhaps a homemade gift or home cooked dinner will suffice to show your appreciation. Use your good judgment.

In 1964 when Dora was headed to Tybee Island, I was stranded with my 2 week-old newborn (husband overseas) and the wonderful neighbor scooped us up and had us stay with her family further inland. She was my guardian angel.

Certainly Abaco land interaction. Noticed a slight bump N along the immediate coast there.
Yet you have to see if it just corrects back versus it sending it on a bit of a latitude gain stair-step.
With Grand Bahama looming it's a valid question which side of that island we tread. pic.twitter.com/S28TsQk4Wz— crankyweatherguy (@crankywxguy) September 1, 2019
